Welcome to Kaipara Towboats

Kaipara Towboats is a tugboat company based on the Kaipara Harbour. We provide a marine towage and manning service. Our core source of work involves towage and dredging on the Kaipara Harbour. Product dredged is loaded onto barges, towed ashore and discharged for use in the building industry.

Our tug service is available 24/7 throughout New Zealand. We can supply the manpower, experience and vessels to cover areas such as ship berthing, salvage and general towage our staff are all qualified mariners with long years of experience on the Kaipara and within the marine towage industry. We also offer a manning service and supply staff to other towage companies, dredging companies and marine service companies.

We work closely with clients to ensure that their HSE policies are met and adhered to during the duration of their contract.
